Srinagar, May 15:Jammu & Kashmir recorded a strong performance in the CBSE Class 10 examinations for the academic year 2024–25, with the region achieving an overall pass percentage of 90.76%, according to data released by the CBSE Regional Office in Chandigarh. The Class 12 results, however, reflected a more modest outcome, with a pass rate of 51.36%.A total of 58,803 students appeared for the Class 10 exams across the Union Territory, of which 53,344 successfully cleared them. Rafiabad, May 12: In a significant crackdown on forest smuggling, a blue Ignis vehicle bearing registration number JK01 AP 7029 was intercepted today around 11:30 AM at Chootosa by a vigilant team of the Rafiabad Control Room, acting on specific intelligence regarding timber transportation. The vehicle was found loaded with illicit Deodar timber—two sawn slippers measuring 5.5 cft.
