FAYAZ HAMEED Kupwara: In a decisive crackdown on illegal timber smuggling, the Kamraj Forest Division, Kupwara, has taken swift action against the damage to Kail trees in Compartments 28 and 29/SL by individuals from Yenberzalwari village in Baramulla district. Acting on intelligence inputs, forest officials seized a Tata Mobile and a motorcycle in Harwan, loaded with illicitly felled timber. An FIR has been registered in connection with the case. Kupwara : The Kamraj Division of the Forest Department has initiated an investigation following the seizure of illegal timber in the Lasitiyaal Kalaroose area. The blaze broke out in the NH 81 block of the Manigah forests, located within the Kamraj Forest Division Kupwara.
