FAYAZ HAMEED Kupwara: In a decisive crackdown on illegal timber smuggling, the Kamraj Forest Division, Kupwara, has taken swift action against the damage to Kail trees in Compartments 28 and 29/SL by individuals from Yenberzalwari village in Baramulla district. Acting on intelligence inputs, forest officials seized a Tata Mobile and a motorcycle in Harwan, loaded with illicitly felled timber. An FIR has been registered in connection with the case.
