Peerzada Zubair Kupwara : Renovated Chinar Youth & Women Empowerment Centre at Machhal was formally inaugurated on 26 June 2026, marking a significant milestone in the journey of inclusive development and empowerment for the people of border villages in Machhal Valley, Kupwara district. An initiative by the Indian Army, two buildings were sponsored by the Rotary Club of Bombay Central, whose generous contribution enabled the creation of a modern, well-equipped facility. Tangdhar, 15 June : An Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Rally was organised at Tangdhar under the aegis of Shakti Vijay Brigade with the objective of strengthening outreach, addressing grievances, and enhancing awareness regarding various welfare schemes available to veterans, Veer Naris, widows, and their dependents.
