DC Kupwara reviews arrangements for celebration of upcoming religious festivals

Kupwara, April 4, The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan (IAS) Thursday, chaired a meeting of Officers at Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex, here to review the arrangements for the celebration of upcoming religious festivals of different communities including Muslims, Sikhs and Hindus in the district. Handwara, March 31 : Continuing its unwavering efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from society, Police have arrested 02 drug peddlers in Handwara and recovered contraband substances from their possession. A police party of Police Station Vilgam headed by SHO PS Vilgam at a checkpoint established at Champora crossing, intercepted two persons. During the search, 90 grams of contraband Charas-like substances were recovered from their possession.
