Kupwara, 11th December 2024: In its continued efforts to combat the menace of drug trafficking and substance abuse, District Police Kupwara in a significant event during the intervening night a Naka party of Police Post Kalaroos, while conducting routine checking near Higher Secondary School Kalaroos, apprehended a suspicious individual, identified as Javid Ahmed Lone, son of Abdul Khaliq Lone, resident of Lashtiyal, Kalaroos. Upon search, 4 grams of a brown sugar-like substance was recovered from his possession.
