As part of its ongoing crackdown on drug trafficking and its associated societal threats District Police Kupwara has executed a detention order under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (PIT NDPS) against a habitual drug trafficker Saqib Nazir Bhat son of Nazir Ahmad Bhat resident of Lolab Kupwara. The detention order was issued by the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir vide Order No. Div Com-K/100/2025 dated 02/06/2025.
