FDA Directs Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes and Food Businesses to Display Food Safety Boards, Clearly Disclose Meat Types

Srrinagar: The Food and Drugs Administration department has directed all the hotels, resturants, cafes and other food business operators to display food safety boards. The Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, the Food Safety and Standards Rules, 2011 and the Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Businesses) Regulations, 2011 cast a statutory responsibility upon every Food Business Operator to ensure that food offered for sale is safe, properly represented and not misleading to consumers. Indian Army Troops Rescue Critically Injured Elderly Woman in Kupwara

Kupwara, Aug 12: Troops of the Indian Army at Muhri, while returning to their base, noticed an approximately 70-year-old woman, Sardar Bi, a resident of Narikut, lying semi-conscious with a severe head injury and profuse bleeding.The troops immediately provided field dressing to control the bleeding and prevent further blood loss.
