Police arrest 02 Drug Peddlers in Handwara: Contraband substances recovered

Handwara, March 31 : Continuing its unwavering efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from society, Police have arrested 02 drug peddlers in Handwara and recovered contraband substances from their possession. A police party of Police Station Vilgam headed by SHO PS Vilgam at a checkpoint established at Champora crossing, intercepted two persons. During the search, 90 grams of contraband Charas-like substances were recovered from their possession. They were later identified as Manzoor Ahmad Shah S/o Saif Din Shah and Mohd Afzal Shah S/o Abdul Gaffar Shah both Residents of Gund Momin Vilgam. They have been arrested and shifted to…
