Bandipora, March 30 : The Krishi Vigyan Kendra Bandipora-1 celebrated the successful conclusion of the three Skill Trainings for Rural Youth (STRY) program with a valedictory function held at its premises.
The event, which took place on 30th March was a culmination of intensive training sessions aimed at equipping rural youth with essential skills for personal and community development. Under the auspices of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), KVK Bandipora-1 has been at the forefront of promoting rural empowerment through various capacity-building initiatives. The valedictory function witnessed the distribution of certificates among the enthusiastic participants who completed the rigorous training regimen. These certificates serve as a testament to their dedication and commitment to enhancing their skills and contributing to the socio-economic fabric of the region. Dr. Tariq Sultan, Programme Coordinator at KVK Bandipora, provided valuable insights into the diverse skill trainings conducted during the program.

The event was graced by the presence of distinguished dignitaries including the Head of KVK Gurez, Dr. Bilal Ahmad Bhat, the Chief Horticulture Officer Mr. Farooq Ahmad and eminent scientists of the Kendra.
