Kupwara In continuation of its efforts against Drug menace today District police kupwara organised an awareness programme at Govt degree college kupwara .The programme included a debate-cum-seminar on Drug addiction.
The programme was formally inaugurated by DSP Headquarters kupwara Mohd Rafee Rather, who in his address gave a detailed and comprehensive deliberation on Drug addiction throughout the India in general and Jammu and Kashmir in particular .
Among other speakers were the contestants who shed light on various aspects of the drug menace.Audience was made aware about the ill effects of Drugs involving health,psychological,social economical impacts.
All the participants pledged to work against the drug menace and to wipe out it from the society .later the programme was followed by a prize distribution ceremony in which the first second and third best speakers were conferred with cash prizes besides appreciation certificates
District police kupwara endeavors to continue its efforts against the drug abuse .Public cooperation is solicited
