Kupwara, July 20 : Cyber Cell Kupwara successfully solved online financial fraud cases, Cyber Cell Kupwara received complaint regarding online financial fraud of RS. 84484. Soon after receipt of complaint cyber cell Kupwara collected evidence /information from the victim .The financial fraud was fake Whatsapp Call and was asked to submit school fee which was pending and was further asked from fraudster to open your Phone Pay, after following the directions the victim have lost RS. 84484. Cyber Cell Kupwara by using cyber tactics successfully blocked the transactions and the amount was put on hold and saved this whole amount.
District Police Kupwara urges the general public to stay vigilant against online fake trading, avoid clicking on suspicious Links, Fake SMS credit Messages, refrain from installing unauthorized Apps, avoiding to pick any video call from unknown numbers and be cautious while sharing personal information online.
