Karnah, August 08: The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karnah Reyaz Ahmad today conducted a spot inspection of the Kursi–Chota Road along with officials of the executing agency, PWD (R & B) and the concerned contractor to address the concerns raised by a delegation from Dildar-B regarding restoration of through connectivity. The road project, being executed under Permanent Restoration at an allotted cost of Rs.25 lakh, was reviewed on ground. During the inspection, the delegation highlighted issues at two identified spots where clearance works were required, resulting in disruption of smooth connectivity. Kupwara, 06 August 2026: A Painting Competition was organized by 4th Battalion JKAP Wayne, Kupwara under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Srinagar: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Jammu & Kashmir, conducted Inspection and sampling drive across the Union Territory to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. During the drive, 175 inspections were conducted across the districts of Jammu, Samba, Udhampur, Reasi, Kathua, Poonch, Rajouri, Anantnag, Kulgam, Pulwama, Bandipora, Srinagar, Ganderbal, Kupwara, Shopian and Baramulla.
