Young Talent from Karnah Honoured by Shakti Vijay Brigade Commander for National Academic Achievement
Kupwara, May 11: Commander, Shakti Vijay Brigade felicitated Master Ubaid ur Rehman, a bright student of AGS Hajinar, for his outstanding academic achievement after being selected for the prestigious Young Technology Scholar (YTS+) Summer Program 2026 at Plaksha University.
During the felicitation ceremony, the Commander congratulated Ubaid for securing a place in the highly competitive “Robotics in Action” track and earning a 100 percent scholarship under the aegis of the Bharti Airtel Foundation. He appreciated the young scholar’s hard work, dedication, and passion for technology, stating that his achievement is a matter of pride for the entire Karnah region and a source of inspiration for local youth.
The Commander also extended his best wishes to Ubaid on being shortlisted for the prestigious International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition 2026, terming it another remarkable milestone in his academic journey.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commander encouraged students of the region to pursue excellence in education, science, and innovation, while reaffirming continued support towards nurturing talent and creating opportunities for the youth of border areas.
