Handwara, April 04 :Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police Handwara has arrested 02 drug peddlers in Handwara, recovered contraband substances from their possession.
A police party of Police station Handwara headed by SHO Handwara established Naka at Chotipora . During checking two persons namely Suhail Ahmad Shagoo S/O Habibullah Shagoo R/O Phorupeth and Javid Ahmad Sheikh S/O Ab Ahad Sheikh R/O Hanga were apprehended and upon their search 23 gms of charas like substance was recovered from their possession. Accordingly, Case under relevant sections of law have been registered at police station Handwara and investigation have been initiated.
