Handwara, March 15: In a significant crackdown on illegal mineral extraction and transportation, Handwara Police seized and fined six vehicles bearing registration numbers JK13E-2804, JK01AJ-0543, and JK1AH-2552, along with a tractor chassis numbered AZUDR1046001S3. Additionally, bearing numbers JK09C-7853 and Ch. No. 0013 were seized and fined and as part of this operation.Under the authority of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, stringent action has been taken against the violators involved in these illicit activities.
