Sogam, November 25, 2023 — In a proactive initiative under the Civic Action Programme 2023, Sogam Police Station organised a Drug Abuse Awareness Seminar and Rally today at GDC Sogam. The event drew distinguished participants, including Dysp PC Lolab as the chief guest and SHO Sogam. Faculty members and students actively engaged in discussions guided by resource persons Shri Masroor Ahmad SrPo JMIC court Sogam and Dr. Javeed Ahmad from SDH Sogam.
The highlight of the program was a spirited debate competition, featuring participants Mehak Hassan, Kawser Manzoor, and Fazil Ganie, who secured top positions and received appreciation certificates and momentos. The event aimed at fostering awareness and dialogue surrounding the critical issue of drug abuse.
The day concluded with a impactful rally against drug abuse, starting from GDC Sogam and culminating at Main Market Sogam. The substantial turnout of students demonstrated a collective commitment to combatting the menace of drug abuse in the community.
