KUPWARA.Kupwara 21 Aug 24In its continuous efforts to empower and boost the spirit of sports among women of Kupwara and enable them to showcase their talent Indian Army’s Kupwara Terriers held a coordinating conference with the women team representatives of 14 teams from various parts of Kupwara Dist for conducting Kupwara Women T-10 Cricket Championship 2024 Fourth Edition on 21 Aug 24. Women T-10 Cricket Championship is scheduled to be conducted in the 4th week of Aug 24. The aim of the Championship is to Empower the young girls and give them an opportunity to come up and showcase their talent. This tournament will enable the young girls to feel free and to refresh their minds. This is the Fourth time when such kind of opportunities have been provided by Indian Army to the girls of Kupwara to prove themselves in the field of sports. This tournament will showcase a upgraded version of cricketing skills and will open avenues for girls of Kupwara to choose Cricket as career in times to come.Indian Army is committed to engage and uplift the women of Kupwara and empower them to become Physicaly Strong and excel in games and sports.
