Closing Ceremony of Bharat Darshan Tour 2025 Organised by 139 Battalion BSF, Trehgam, Kupwara

Kupwara , Feb 08 : The Bharat Darshan Tour 2025, organized by 139 Bn BSF, Trehgam, Kupwara, Kashmir, under the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Bharat Darshan Programme, concluded on February 8, 2025.

The tour, which took place from February 2-7, 2025, was attended by 15 Kashmiri students and a teacher from Government Higher Secondary School Keran and Government High School Mandian, located near the Line of Control.
Upon their return, the group was warmly received and addressed by Brigadier Manish Dutt Upadhyay, DIG SHQ BSF Kupwara, Kashmir Frontier, and Sh Anil Kumar Guleria, Commandant 139 Bn BSF. The students enthusiastically shared their experiences and learnings from the tour, which included visits to historical and cultural landmarks in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Tour Highlights- Visited major tourist attractions in Ahmedabad, including the Sabarmati riverfront, Adalaj stepwell, Science City, Narender Modi stadium, Ahmedabad, and the Statue of Unity, Sardar Sarovar dam in Kevadia- Explored the statue of Unity, Jungle Safari, Cactus garden and surrounding area, and enjoyed activities like the mirror maze and valley of flower Witnessed the multicultural and multilingual diversity of India- Carried the message of love and peace from the Kashmir Valley to the rest of India

The Chief Guest presented the group with a photo album containing their tour memories, followed by tea and snacks. The participants appreciated the Bharat Darshan Tour 2025 and the arrangements made for them, including accommodation, food, transport, curriculum, and quality of items issued.

This tour provided the students with a unique opportunity to experience India’s rich culture and gain firsthand knowledge of various developments across the country.
