Kupwara, September 29: In compliance with directions from district police authorities, Kupwara Police today conducted a comprehensive SIM vendor verification drive across all Police Stations and Police Posts of the district. The initiative was aimed at curbing the misuse of SIM cards for unlawful activities and ensuring strict compliance with verification norms. During the inspection, police officers thoroughly checked the registers and customer verification records maintained by SIM card vendors.
