The meeting comprehensively assessed inter-departmental coordination in the areas of prevention, enforcement, awareness, and rehabilitation measures. Srinagar: The Food & Drugs Administration, J&K conducted a special enforcement drive across the Union Territory to check the quality and safety of milk and milk products and ensure compliance with the prescribed food safety standards. During the drive, 198 inspections were conducted and 178 samples of milk and milk products were collected from different districts for testing of prescribed quality and safety parameters.
