Kupwara Police Seize 57 Grams of Charas at Redbugh Crossing

Kupwara, Nov 07: In an ongoing effort to combat drug trafficking in the region, Kupwara Police apprehended an individual with 57 grams of suspected charas during a checkpoint operation at Redbugh Crossing. The operation was conducted by a team from Police Post Drugmulla, who had established a checkpoint at Redbugh Crossing. During routine checking, officers intercepted and detained an individual identified as Aijaz Ahmad Gojar, a resident of Keegam Kupwara. Kupwara, November 3, 2024– Acting on vigilance efforts to curb drug trafficking, Kupwara Police apprehended three suspects in possession of a significant quantity of suspected brown sugar, weighing approximately 180 grams, during a routine checkpoint operation at Bumhama near Drugmulla. At around 19:45 hours, a team led by In-Charge Police Post (ICPP)Drugmulla established a random checkpoint near the Bumhama check post.
