ADGP Armed Anand Jain, other senior police officers visit family of Inspector Asrar Ul Haq in Kupwara

Kupwara, 19 Nov: Senior police officials including ADGP Armed Anand Jain and DIG IRP Junaid Mehmood Wednesday paid a solemn visit to the residence of Martyr inspector Asrar Ul Haq at Muqam Shahwali in Kupwara, to offer condolences and show solidarity with the bereaved family.

The Senior officials were accompanied by Commandant Border Battalion Kupwara/ IRP 4th BN Arif Amin Shah, SSP Kupwara Al Tahir Geelani, Dy Commandants IRP 4th BN Peerzada Aijaz and Abid Rashid Mir and DySP IRP 4th BN Nasir Ahmad Bhat. Inspector Asrar Ul Haq a dedicated and honest officer tragically lost his life in the recent Nowgam Police station blast.

The officers on the occasion reaffirmed their commitment and conveyed words of support saying that they stand by the family of martyrs.

The ADGP also interacted with family members and praised the dedication of Inspector Haq, noting that his ultimate sacrifice won’t be forgotten. Officers there remembered, his professionalism and bravery highlighting him as a responsible and helpful individual.

The gesture of ADGP armed Anand Jain and others highlighted a deep sense of unity and collective resolve within the Jammu and Kashmir police to honour martyrs and support their family members in times of grief.
