Kupwara, Sept 19: In order to promote sporting culture and providing suitable platform for young sportsmen frontier premier cricket league is being organised in district kupwara in the month of October 2025.
Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Shri Shrikant Suse chaired a meeting to finalize preparations for the upcoming Frontier Cricket Tournament.Tournament is being organised with collaborative efforts of district administration, JK police and Indian army.
Detailed discussions held on tournament logistics, teams participation, publicity strategy , and venue management to ensure a smooth event.Tournament is based on message of “Nashamukt Kupwara” and with objective of creating vibrancy in zero border villages.
The DC expressed confidence that the tournament will boost youth engagement in sports and strengthen community spirit in the district.
