Srinagar , Apr 05 : WellWish Foundation, in collaboration with Vyomika Space Academy, successfully organized an educational event on Promotion of STEM Education – Drones, Rockets & Satellites at IPTS Khansahib, Budgam on 5th April 2025. The event was conducted under the prestigious ISRO Space Tutor Programme, with the aim of encouraging scientific thinking and innovation among school students.
A major highlight of the event was the presence of Mr. Azhar Yousuf, Head of Training Department at Vyomika Space Academy and Ex Guest Faculty National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Srinagar, who conducted insightful sessions and live demonstrations. His engaging and interactive approach inspired students as he introduced them to the fascinating world of drones, rocket mechanics, and satellite technology.
The program featured hands-on activities and real-time demonstrations, allowing students to explore Insights into Indian Space Programme, Rocket Propulsion, Aerodynamics, Structures, Stability and Control, STEM concepts in a fun and practical way. It ignited a sense of curiosity and ambition among the young participants, many of whom expressed a newfound interest in space science and technology.
The workshop was attended by more than 100 enthusiastic students. Principal of the school, Teachers and other guests appreciated the initiative, calling it a valuable step toward promoting scientific awareness and innovation in the region.
