Karnah, August 08: The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karnah Reyaz Ahmad today conducted a spot inspection of the Kursi–Chota Road along with officials of the executing agency, PWD (R & B) and the concerned contractor to address the concerns raised by a delegation from Dildar-B regarding restoration of through connectivity.
The road project, being executed under Permanent Restoration at an allotted cost of Rs.25 lakh, was reviewed on ground. During the inspection, the delegation highlighted issues at two identified spots where clearance works were required, resulting in disruption of smooth connectivity.
After detailed on-spot discussions with the concerned agencies, it was decided that necessary clearance works at the identified locations shall be undertaken on priority to ensure restoration of connectivity and facilitate the movement of the general public.
SDM Karnah directed the executing agency and contractor to expedite the works and ensure timely completion while maintaining the required quality standards.
