Kupwara, Apr 15 : Continuing its drive against illegal activities, Police Post Bazar apprehended a bootlegger and recovered 13 bottles of illicit liquor during a naka checking.A police team from Police Post bazar while conducting naka checking near geerjatchi intercepted and apprehended an individual identified as Ashik Hussain khatana S/O mohammad din khatana R/O Kralpora .During the search, 13 bottles of illegal liquor were recovered from his possession. Accordingly, a case FIR No. 110/2025 U/S 50 Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kupwara, and further investigation has been set into motion. Kupwara Police remains committed to taking strict action against those involved in illicit activities and urges the public to cooperate in maintaining a crime-free society.General public is encouraged to report any illegal activities to the police.
