Kupwara 18 Feb 2026: Under the aegis of Vajr Division Indian Army’s Kupwara Terriers organised a motivational tour for the girls working at various FLWOK Centers and Barkat Bistro. The tour starting from Kupwara to Gulmarg and was flagged off at Pathahirri Garrison on 17 Feb 2026.
“The aim of the tour is to provide an opportunity to these girls living in remote area of Kupwara District to visit new places and witness ultimate natural beauty of Gulmarg which will result in boosting their overall personality development.
During the tour the women visited Artisans Art and Culture Centre at Gulmarg which aims to contribute to the society at large by supporting unsung artists and their art. The Women also enjoyed a ride of Famous Gulmarg Gandola and were much excited. Girls and Parents thanked Indian Army for providing girls an opportunity to visit Gulmarg first time.
