Ganga arti held first time at Teetwal after 75 years.

Kupwara, April 10, Ganga arti on the banks of river kishenganga Teetwal close to LOC in Kupwara district was held today for the first time after 75 years at the newly constructed ghat. Scores of pilgrims from all over the country took part in the event.

This was first time after partition that the devotees who visited Sharda temple at LoC Teetwal, took a dip in kishenganga river which is located close to Sharda Mata mandir.

The arti was led by Ravinder Pandita Founder of save sharda Committee Kashmir ” More such arti events shall be held in future on this traditional ghat that used to exist before partition ” said Ravinder Pandita.

Navratra celebrations are continuing at Sharda temple LoC Teetwal these days after it was inaugurated last year on 22 March.
