Kupwara, August 28, 2025:
JKRETTF Zone Khumeriyal today organized a grand farewell function at UPS Nard Gagal in honour of Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Khumeriyal, Farooq Ahmad Khatana, who is superannuating after rendering dedicated service in the education sector.
The event was graced by the Chief Education Officer Kupwara, Deputy CEO Kupwara, ZEOs of Sogam, Kupwara, Villgam, and Rajwar, as well as the Principals of HSS Warnow, Maidanpora, and Machil.
Among the distinguished guests were Dr. Fareed, Naib Tehsildar Mushtaq, District President JKRETTF Kupwara Sheikh Parvaiz, Inspector Ashraf, Assistant Professor Ishrat Farooq (daughter of the retiring ZEO), and Jamsheed (son of the retiring ZEO). Heads of Institutions of high schools, middle schools, and primary schools across the zone, along with a large gathering of teachers, also attended the function.
Speakers on the occasion highlighted the remarkable role, work ethic, and contributions of Farooq Ahmad Khatana, praising his commitment and invaluable service to the education sector.
