Kupwara , March 06 : In response to heavy snowfall in the region, the Deputy Commander of 104 Shakti Vijay Brigade facilitated the movement of Power Development Department (PDD) personnel to Nasta Chhun Pass (NC Pass) to restore electricity. This crucial coordination with the civil administration aims to alleviate hardships faced by local residents.Additionally, the Deputy Commander conducted an inspection of NH-701 from Karnah to Chowkibal, overseeing ongoing snow clearance efforts. Special attention was given to Sadhna Top, where heavy snowfall has severely impacted road connectivity. He reassured that power restoration and road clearance operations are being closely monitored.Teams from the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) and Project Beacon are actively engaged in clearing snow to ensure the safe movement of vehicles. Authorities have also urged commuters to exercise caution while traveling in the region.The swift intervention by the Army has been met with appreciation from the local population, as efforts continue to fully restore essential services and normalcy in the area.
