Srinagar, Sept 18: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference (JKPC) Youth President-Kashmir Sufi Tahir on Thursday joined the ongoing protest by National Health Mission (NHM) employees and extended his support to their long-pending demands.
Addressing the protesting employees, Tahir urged the government to take immediate steps to address their grievances and ensure a meaningful resolution to the issues confronting NHM workers.
He said the concerns raised by the protesting employees need to be addressed through appropriate intervention and dialogue, while calling for timely action on their service-related demands.
Tahir assured the protesters of his continued support and said he would stand with them in their struggle. He also said he would participate in their future protests until their demands are addressed.
The NHM employees have been staging protests over their pending service-related demands, seeking government intervention and resolution of the issues raised by them.
