Kupwara : The Grand Finale of Hindi Olympiad 2026, organized by the Wadij Hindi Sansthan to promote the Hindi language among students, was celebrated with great enthusiasm at AGS Hajinar in the presence of distinguished guests, educationists, local officers, students, and parents.
The event was graced by Mrs. Sheela Yadav, Chairperson, Family Welfare Organisation (FWO), Shakti Vijay Brigade, and Mrs. Nutan Suse, wife of the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, as Chief Guests. The Olympiad was coordinated by Mrs. Nasreen Ali and Rayees Ahmad.
More than 300 students from schools across Tangdhar participated in the competition. Students who had demonstrated sterling performances in the written and local rounds of the Olympiad were felicitated and awarded certificates and prizes for their achievements.
The Grand Finale also featured scintillating cultural performances by students of AGS Hajinar, AGS Teetwal, and AGS Trehgam, showcasing their talent, creativity, and cultural pride.
Local officers and guests were also felicitated for their continued support towards education and cultural development in the region.Results: AGS Hajinar secured the 1st Position AGS Trehgam secured the 2nd Position.
The programme concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony, celebrating academic excellence, cultural values, and the promotion of the Hindi language among the youth of Karnah.
