Kupwara , May 28 : Renowned social worker and artist Rouble Nagi inaugurated a Computer Skill Centre at Madrasa Islamia Arabia Lisan-ul-Quran under the banner of the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation in Amrohi village of Karnah Tehsil.
Amrohi village is located in the border area of Karnah Tehsil, around 10 kilometres away from the tehsil headquarters.
This newly inaugurated centre becomes the third skill development centre established in Karnah Valley by the foundation. Two other centres are already functioning successfully at Madrasa Rozatul Salihat and Madrasa Shah Hamadan.
Locals said that this is the first-ever computer skill centre in the area, and such an initiative had never reached the village before. They appreciated the efforts of the foundation and said that the project became possible with the support of the Indian Army. Residents expressed happiness over the opportunity being provided to local children and youth, saying the centre will help them gain digital education, computer knowledge, and modern skills for a better future.
People of the area also urged that more such educational and digital initiatives should be introduced for the welfare and bright future of their children.
