Vigilance Awareness Week-2025District Administration Kupwara, ACB J&K hold workshop at D.C Office Kupwara

KUPWARA, OCTOBER 27: District Administration Kupwara in collaboration with Anti Corruption Bureau J&K today organized a one day workshop on the beginning of ‘Vigilance Awareness Week-2025’ at D.C Office Complex Kupwara.

The workshop was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Suse.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Gulzar Ahmad, ACR Kupwara, ACD, other officers and large number of employees from various departments attended the workshop.


On the occasion, an Integrity Pledge was administered by the Deputy Commissioner to the participants aiming at to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability in public service delivery. He emphasized the need for maintaining work ethics, morals and proper conduct for smooth public service delivery.


Earlier, Dy. SP ACB Baramulla spoke and highlighted the significance of Vigilance Awareness Week-2025.


During the workshop, few documentaries were presented before the participants about the working of the Vigilance Department in containing bribery and corrupt practices across the departments to foster integrity, accountability and corruption free society. Pamphlets providing awareness about the Vigilance Awareness Week were also distributed among the participants.


Meanwhile, the DC along with the participants also took part in the Integrity Pledge administered at UT level through virtual mode.


The Vigilance Awareness Week was also observed across all the Government offices of district Kupwara during which Heads of the offices administered the Integrity Pledge among the officers and employees for upholding the higher standards of work ethics and corruption free business.


ADC Handwara, Javed Naseem Masoodi also administered Integrity Pledge at ADC Complex Handwara during which large number of officials took part and vowed to promote corruption free environment in offices and public life.
