Kupwara : The fourth day of the Kilo North Kashmir Premier League saw drama, dominance and dazzling cricket as Chandigam roared with excitement and witnessed a day of sheer dominance and one-sided fireworks as Lazzat Sopore and Shatgund Cricket Club stamped their authority in the Kilo North Kashmir Premier League.
In the opening clash, Wallur Sports Hajin were rocked early and never recovered, finishing on 106/9. The spotlight was stolen by Zuhaib Javid, who bowled with fire and accuracy to claim 5 wickets for just 10 runs — a spell that broke the backbone of Hajin’s batting. In the chase, Be Dar’s fluent 42 and Zaid Parvaiz’s steady 27 carried Lazzat Sopore to a comfortable 5-wicket win. Javid’s destructive spell fetched him the Man of the Match.
The second game turned into a nightmare for Friends XI Lolab, who collapsed meekly to 78 all out. Umar Dar, Mohsin Javid and Mir Waseem hunted in a pack, taking three wickets each to shred the batting order apart. Shatgund’s reply was clinical — Danish Bhat anchored with a calm 29 while Javed Sheikh (Peter) played strokes all around the park for his 25, sealing victory by 7 wickets. Danish’s cool temperament under pressure won him the Man of the Match.
