Kupwara, Oct 19 : acting on reliable information, the police party from Police Station Lalpora in a prompt action to tackle illegal mining in the Darpora area of Lolab seized two tippers and a JCB, along with the illegally mined material.The Case FIR No. 75/2024 U/S 303(2) and 329(3) BNS has been registered at the police station,the accused drivers have been arrested and furthur investigation is underway.
This action by Police Station Lalpora has been highly appreciated by the local community, as it aids in curbing further damage to the natural resources in the forest area of Darpora.
