SSP Handwara Chairs Public Interaction at Shilthara and Monabal

Handwara, January 28: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Handwara, Shri Mushtaq Ahmad Chowdhury-JKPS, conducted a public interaction program at Panchayat Ghar Monabal and Shilthara. The event witnessed participation from community leaders, social activists, religious heads, traders, and prominent citizens from Qalamabad and adjoining areas.

The meeting was also attended by Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Handwara, Shri Zaffer Nawaz-JKPS, along with the Station House Officer (SHO) of Police Station Qalamabad and other officers.

During the interaction, grievances and issues raised by the attendees were addressed, with police-related matters receiving priority attention and civil issues promised to be referred promptly to the concerned departments. SSP Handwara emphasized the importance of grassroots policing to strengthen public trust and called for collective efforts to combat drug abuse and other social evils. He highlighted the need for a mission-driven approach to community service.

The program concluded with an exchange of thanks, reinforcing the spirit of collaboration and mutual understanding between the police and the community.
